One of the responses of my facebook posting that the movie “Avatar” is an optical fest was a interesting link from a friend:

    yea, i saw that post too, and my favourite response to it that was by someone called Austin S.:

    “Avatar was a rip-off because it had a plot with characters in it and conflict. Plus it had music in it, like Beetlejuice does. And at the very end, credits. Like Ben Hur.”

    i really liked the movie. and yes i agree, the storyline is flat. but that comparison is just dull. for instance you can do the same thing for 90% of all action movies i bet!
